Persons of quality in the 21st century are rarely one's relatives. This is, of course, rather unfortunate in some respects, but respect is something frequently lacking in relationships with great aunts. Even persons who believe they share the same matrilineal heritage as myself frequently ask for unearned advantages.
I am a very busy person. Creating world peace is never something to leave to others to do, as even the United Nations is willing to acknowledge. If you are not involved in a similar worthy project to my own, then you have no right to my assistance, regardless of your DNA.

For any of my material relations, whether of the maternal or paternal variety, I usually advise the very useful activity of becoming self-employed in a socially and environmentally worthy pursuit. The exception, of course, is for those who are far too lazy or abusive to do anything worthwhile at all.
My advice is suitable for all persons wishing to be deemed as enlightened beings. If you are self-employed you will never be sacked by someone else. You will be providing for your own means, and perhaps even assisting in the provision of employment to others.
As a successful self-employed person you may even become a very much loved employer, which is much the same as being an equally much loved great aunt. As an employer you are more likely to be listened to by politicians. If you have the added advantage of enjoying your work, you will also have the privilege of claiming against tax for something you love doing.
Many of the more creative self-employed persons use the opportunity to work from home, to avoid commuting and polluting. This is certainly advantageous to the world at large, especially when taking into consideration those unfortunate persons who travel to their own places of work and study by crowded forms of public transportation.
To combine life and work so that they become one is a great artistic achievement, as long as work is not mistaken for life. As a successful business person, you may even choose to sack yourself and give the job to someone else. You can still receive an income from that work by being an investor.

It is wise to remember that persons who have the word "investment" in their job title are rarely self-employed. They work in the speculation profession and usually play with large amounts of money they borrow from others. Speculation should always be considered a game and not a worthy form of employment. You may even find that companies with expertise in selling government securities also have a fondness for speculating in casinos, especially as share holders.
If you are self-employed, and you provide what people want, where they want it, when they want it, at a price they are willing to pay, then you may be able to work exactly when it suits you, too. You may even combine work and holidays, and even make your work into a holiday.
Now, where is that great, great, grand, etc. nephew of mine who promised to make me a cup of tea?
